VITEEE Exam 2022 : B. Tech Admission at VIT

VITEEE Exam 2022: Engineering students wish to join Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), must appear for VITEEE 2022 - the annual entrance examination conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology for admissions to its campuses at Vellore, Chennai as well as its group universities at Bhopal and Amravati respectively. VIT tops in the NIRF Ranking 2021 in Private Engineering Category. Candidates can apply Online. Exam held between Jun 17 to 25, 2022.

Recently VIT declared a placement report for the B. Tech Batch 2022. More than 2000 students are placed in Cognizant.

VITEEE Eligibility 2022: Candidates should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) while there is a relaxation of 10% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, J&K, North Eastern states. Candidates belonging to these categories should produce the documents at the time of counseling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Admission Process

  • Selection is based on the rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test).

  • Selected candidates will be called for online counseling based on their ranking.

  • Eligible Candidates may select specific campus and programme during the Counseling.

  • After payment of full fees classes will be conducted online / reporting in person to the Institution.

  • Candidates are expected to prove their genuineness on joining.


Subject Eligibility:

  • Candidates having studied Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry in +2 / Higher Secondary Board are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes

  • Candidates having studied Biology/Physics/Chemistry in +2/ Higher Secondary Board are eligible for the following Bio stream programmes only. Upon joining, the students need to mandatorily register for a bridge course in Mathematics
